Overview

MegaWatt Fiber is committed to providing reliable, high-performance internet and communication services for all customers. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines acceptable and prohibited uses of MegaWatt Fiber services (“Service”).

By using MegaWatt Fiber services, you agree to comply with this AUP, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.

Lawful Use

Service may only be used for lawful purposes.

Customers may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any local, state, federal, or international laws or regulations
  • Transmit, distribute, or store unlawful content
  • Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities

Network Integrity and Performance

Customers may not use the Service in a way that interferes with the normal operation of the network or impacts other users.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or data
  • Introducing viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Conducting denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
  • Excessive or abusive use that degrades network performance

Unauthorized Use and Access

Customers may not:

  • Use the Service to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization
  • Attempt to bypass or circumvent security measures
  • Use the Service for unauthorized monitoring or surveillance

Spam and Messaging Abuse

Customers may not use the Service to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk communications (“spam”)
  • Distribute malicious links or phishing communications
  • Operate open mail relays or similar services that facilitate abuse

Resale and Redistribution

Service is intended for use at the registered service address unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers may not:

  • Resell or redistribute the Service
  • Provide network access to third parties for commercial purposes without authorization

Intellectual Property

Customers may not use the Service to:

  • Infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
  • Distribute or access pirated or unauthorized content

Security

Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their own systems and devices connected to the Service.

This includes:

  • Protecting account credentials
  • Securing connected devices
  • Preventing unauthorized use of the Service

Enforcement

MegaWatt Fiber may take action if this AUP is violated.

Actions may include:

  • Providing notice of violation
  • Suspending or restricting Service
  • Terminating Service in cases of repeated or severe violations

MegaWatt Fiber may act without prior notice where necessary to protect network integrity or comply with legal obligations.

Cooperation with Authorities

MegaWatt Fiber may cooperate with law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law or to address violations of this AUP.

Updates to This Policy

MegaWatt Fiber may update this AUP from time to time. Updates will be posted on the MegaWatt Fiber website.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any updates.
